A note on point source diffraction by a wedge

[摘要] The object of thispaper is to give new expressions for the wavefield produced when a time harmonic point source is diffracted bya wedge withDirichlet or Neumann boundary conditions on itsfaces. The representation of the total field is expressed interms of quadratures of elementary functions, rather than Besselfunctions, which is usual in the literature. An analogousexpression is given for the three-dimensional free-space Green'sfunction.
