Osiris wavelets and Set wavelets

[摘要] An alternative to Osiris wavelet systems is introduced in twodimensions. The basic building blocks are continuous piecewiselinear functions supported on equilateral triangles instead of onsquares. We refer to wavelets generated in this way as Setwavelets. We introduce a Set wavelet system whose homogeneousmode density is2/5. The system is not orthonormal, but wederive a positive lower bound on the overlap matrix.
