Free convection flow of conducting micropolar fluid with thermal relaxation including heat sources
[摘要] The present work is concerned with unsteady free convection flowof an incompressible electrically conducting micropolar fluid,bounded by an infinite vertical plane surface of constanttemperature. A uniform magnetic field acts perpendicularly to theplane. The state space technique is adopted for theone-dimensional problems including heat sources with onerelaxation time. The resulting formulation is applied to aproblem for the whole space with a plane distribution of heatsources. The reflection method together with the solutionobtained for the whole space is applied to a semispace problemwith a plane distribution of heat sources located inside thefluid. The inversion of the Laplace transforms is carried outusing a numerical approach. Numerical results for thetemperature, the velocity, and the angular velocity distributionsare given and illustrated graphically for the problems considered.
