Automated HPLC monitoring of brothcomponents on bioreactors
[摘要] Under proper operating conditions, a low dead volume continuousfiltration module operated on biological broths (yeast and bacteriasuspensions in stirred reactors) still fulfills the flow-rate requirementsof an analytical apparatus (for example HPLC or FIA)without membrane regeneration. The filtrate stream has beensuccessfully connected to a bioreactor in order to perform theautomated HPLC analysis of broth components. The monitoring ofthe carbon source (lactose), and minor products (glycerol, acetateand succinate) during a yeast culture (Kluyveromyces marxianus) is shown.
