Multicentre evaluation of the Monarch (IL)clinical chemistry analyser

[摘要] A multicentre evaluation of the Monarch centrifugal analyser isreported. Precision, linearity and accuracy were assessed bycomparison with routine methods. Calibration stability, photometricand dispensing accuracy, and carry-over related to samplesand reagents were also evaluated. The overall performance of theinstrument was good, showing an excellent photometric anddispensing accuracy, absence of sample-dependent carry-over, and almostnegligible reagent carry-over. Good precision, linearity andcorrelation with routine methods were found for the parameterstested. The instrument is reliable and is now used as the routineclinical chemistry analyser in two of the three laboratories takingpart in the evaluation.
