Determination of inorganic phosphorus inserum: Evaluation of three methods appliedto the Technicon RA-1000 analyzer

[摘要] We have evaluated three analytical methods for determininginorganic phosphorus in serum applied to the Technicon RA-I000analyzer: a fully enzymatic colorimetric method based on thespecific system purine nucleoside phosphorylase/xanthine oxidasecoupled to an indicator colorimetric reaction similar to the Trinderreaction; a chemical method involving the direct UV measurementof the phosphomolybdate complex; and a chemical method withreduction of the phosphomolybdate complex to molybdenum blue.Experiments were performed to assess within-run and between-dayprecision, linearity, interference and correlation. The best performancecharacteristics were shown by the enzymatic colorimetricmethod and the phosphomolybdate UV method.
