Automated sirulated distillation using anarticulated laboratory robot system

[摘要] An automated method, based on the Hewlett-Packard ORCA(Optimized Robot for Chemical Analysis) system, for samplepreparation and analysis of petroleum samples by simulateddistillation (SIMDIS) is described. Results obtained for therobotically prepared samples show excellent agreement with thoseobtained from the same samples prepared manually. Theapplication, based on ASTM method D 2887, is the foundationfor a more fully automated system that can perform a variety ofSIMDIS samples and methods.
