Reward Processing in the Brain: A Prerequisite for Movement Preparation?
[摘要] In the last decade, expanding animal studieson the cerebral organization of reward processingtoward human in vivo situations has becomepossible. In this review, we define some of theconcepts associated with reward, summarize thecrucial importance of the dopaminergic system, and discuss the currently available neuroimagingstudies in man. We will show thatabstract concepts of human behavior likeemotions, drive, arousal, and reinforcement arenow open for further exploration in man at thelevel of neuronal circuit organization. Thecerebral dopaminergic neurotransmitter circuitrydoes play an important role in the organizationof both the motor and motivational system.
