An extended mode-matching model for improved relative permittivity measurements using a split-cylinder resonator

[摘要] In this paper we present an extended mode-matching model for a split-cylinderresonator involving TE and TM resonant modes. The newmodel enhances the known TE_0np mode-matching model by improvingmode identification and distortion analysis and providing better frequencyrange coverage for relative permittivity estimation. In order to verify thenew model, measured spectra of several substrate materials are analyzed andthe estimation results are compared with those of the TE_0npmode-matching model.
