Analytical calculation of intrinsic shielding effectiveness for isotropic and anisotropic materials based on measured electrical parameters

[摘要] This contribution contains the mechanisms for calculation of magneticshielding effectiveness from material samples, based on measured electricalparameters. For this, measurement systems for the electrical conductivity ofhigh and low conductive material samples with respect to the direction ofcurrent flow are presented and discussed. Also a definition of isotropic andanisotropic materials with electrical circuit diagrams is given. Forprediction of shielding effectiveness for isotropic and anisotropicmaterials, several analytical models are presented. Also adaptions to gain anear field solution are part of this contribution. All analytical models willalso be validated with an adequate measurement system.
