Zum Stand der Paläolithforschung in der Schweiz
[摘要] Research on the Palaeolithic started in Switzerland duringthe 19th Century in the overall framework of cave studies. Two different industries were soon recognized: middlepalaeolithicflake tools usually together with the bones ofcave bear, and a late palaeolithic blade industry associatedwith bone and antler tools, sculptures and line drawings. Recent research yielded complementary information on openairsites. A characteristic Mousterian tool-kit comes from asurface deposit at Pleigne JU, Löwenburg. New chronostratigraphicstudies in the alpine Wildkirchli cave resulted in a relativelylate date for its middle-palaeolithic layers. The latepalaeolithic open-air and cave Sites, which belong to anevolved Magdalenian tradition, seem to concentrate aroundthe Bölling oscillation. Information on the final Palaeolithicand early Mesolithic is still too fragmentary for conclusions.
