Efeito do tratamento a pressao de vapor no bagaco de cana de acucar sobre a sua degradacao in vitro e digestibilidade in vivo
[摘要] Sugarcanebagassewastreatedwithsteamandpressureat17kg/cm²during5minutesat200-220°C.Theproductwasanalyzedforchemicalconstituents,degradabilityunderinvitroconditionsandfedwithdifferentlevelsofurea(0;0.7%and1.5%ofdrymatter)tononlactatingruminants.Chemicalanalysesofthetreatedbagassedetectedareductionofhemicellulose(31%to6.3%)andproportionalreductionincellwall(95%to65%).Invitrodegradationofcellwallwashigher(36%to44%)fortreatedsamples.Additionof1.5%ofureatothedietsincreaseditsdigestibilitybyruminants(51.4%to56.3%).Thiswas,maybe,duetoahigheravailabilityofnitrogentothemicroorganisms8hoursafterfeeding.Itwasshownthat,invitrotreatedbagassehadalonglagtime;causing,therefore,aneedfornitrogen,bymicroorganisms,longafterfeeding.
