Efecto de tres follajes arbóreos sobre el consumo voluntario y algunos parámetros de funcionamiento ruminal en ovejas africanas
[摘要] Theeffectofthreetreefoliagesonintakeandrumenfunctionwasstudiedin8AfricanHairsheepfedabasaldietofpressedsugarcanestalkandamultinutritionalblock(10%urea).Thefoliageswerefromthetrees:Erythrinapoeppigiana,GliricidiasepiumandTrichantheragigantea.Theywerefedinrestrictedamountsof3kg(freshbasis)/100kgliveweight).Thedesignwasa4x4LatinSquarewiththetreatmentsbeingthethreetreefoliagesandacontrolgivenonlythebasicdiet.Eachexperimentalperiodwas14days,thefirst7foradaptationandthelast7formeasurements.Theintakeofthepressedcanestalkwasnotaffectedbysupplementationwiththetreefoliages,withtheresultthattotaldrymatterintakewashigher(P=0.001)forthealltreefoliagetreatments.Therewerenosignificantdifferencesinintakeofdrymatteramongthetreatmentswithtreefoliage,althoughtherewasatendencyforthistobeleastwithgliricidiasepiumandhighestwithTrichanteragigantea.Thetreatmentshadnoeffectonrumenfunction.
