[摘要] Anexperimentwascarriedoutwith8africanhairsheeptodeterminetheeffectofdegreeoffeedselectiononvoluntaryintakeandsomerumenecosystemparameters.Thebasaldietofchoppedcanetops(particlesize2-4cm)wasgivenatlevelsof4,6,8and10kg(drybasis)/100kgliveweightaccordingtoaLatinsquare4x4design.Periodswereof14dayswithmeasurementsbeingmadeoverthelast7days(intake)andonthe14thday(rumenparameters).Allanimalshadfreeaccesstoamultinutritionalblock(10%urea,50%molasses)andwater,andweregivenfreshfoliageofGliricidiasepiumattherateof3kg/100kgliveweight.Asfeedofferlevelincreasedtherewereincreasesindrymatterintake,inthemoisturecontentoftherefusalsandinthepopulationofrumenprotozoa.Rumenammoniadidnotvarywithfeedofferlevelinsamplestaken3hafterfeedingbut,at6htherewasalineardecreaseinammoniaasfeedofferlevelincreased.Feedintakewaspositivelyrelatedwiththemoisturecontentofthefeedrefusals.Theresultsshowthatahighofferlevelofafibrousfeedresourceallowstheanimaltoselectthemorenutritiousparts,withbeneficialeffectsontheintakeandqualityofthefeedconsumed.
