[摘要] Thefeasibilityofusingnon-cerealgrainfeedresourcesasthebasisforintensivepoultryproductionisincreasingslowly.Sugarcaneandafricanoilpalmoffermostperspectivesasthebasisforsustainableintensivelivestockproductionincludingpoultry.Thedevelopmentoffeedingsystemsfromthesenon-conventionalfeedresourceswillrequireanequallynon-conventionalapproachtothedesignoftheproductionsystem.Itisprobablethatthemostappropriatespeciesofpoultrywillbeducksandgeeseandthattheseshouldbecomplementedwithruminantanimalsinfarmingsystemsthatintegratecropsandlivestockwithefficientrecyclingofresidues,by-productsandwastes.
