[摘要] Apreliminaryexperimentwascarriedouttodeterminetheextenttowhichbyproductsofcassavastarchprocessingcouldbeusedasthebasaldietforgrowing-fatteningducks.Experimentaldietsweremadefromcombinationsofthetwomainbyproducts:theouterpartoftheroot(quot;afrechoquot;)removedduringthefirststageofprocessingandtheresidueremainingafterremovalofthestarch(quot;manchaquot;).Thefourbasaldietswereproportionsof100:0,50:50,66.6:33.4and75:25quot;manchaquot;andquot;afrechoquot;air-driedbasisgivenadlibitum.Inadditionafixedquantity(56g/d)ofaproteinsupplement(36%protein)wasalsofed.Oneachtreatmenttherewasagroupof10ducks(WhitePekinbreed).At58daysofagethehighestliveweight(2,128g)andthelowestfeedcostwereonthedietwithequalpartsofquot;afrechoquot;andquot;manchaquot;.Theseresultsindicatethatitisfeasibletousecassavastarchbyproductsasacompletereplacementforcerealgrainsinthefatteningofducks.
