[摘要] Masticatoryorientationisnotafrequenttreatmentusedbyprofessionals;it#39;satherapythatgivesuspositiveresultsinpatientswithunilateralmasticationandlimitativebilateralmastication.Inthisstudy,themasticatoryorientationeffectivenessandawarenesswasevaluated.Thestudywasbasedinagroupof3to6yearsoldchildren.Goodresultwherefoundwhilethetherapywasdoneundersupervision,andnotsogoodwithoutsupervision.However,thetechniquewasconsideredeffectivetomodifymasticatorypatternsinsomepatients,andasaresultthemasticatoryanglewasbalanced,preventingamalocclusion.
