Patologías más frecuentes en cavidad bucal en niños y adolescentes malnutridos y nutridos que asistieron al Centro de Atención Nutricional Infantil Antímano durante mayo y octubre de 2008
[摘要] Malnutritionistheclinicalstagecharacterizedbyanalterationofthebodyduetoanequilibriumdisorderbetweenadiminishedintakeofessentialnutrientsforthebasicnecessitiesoralsoofanexcessiveamountofthem.Inglobaldata,therearescarcereferencesthatrelateoralpathologieswithnutritionaldiagnostics.Thenutritionalclassificationusedonthepatientsofthe"CentrodeAtenciónNutricionalIntegraldeAntímano",TheNutritionalAlterationsCenterofAntímano,(C.A.N.I.A.)inCaracas,VenezuelaisEutrophic(normalweight),Desnutrition(Subclinical,light,moderateandsevere)andObesity.OurGeneralObjectivewastodeterminediverseoralpathologiesinchildrenandadolescentsthatconcurredtotheoutpatient(triage)consultationfacility.MaterialsandMethods:weusedbasicdentalequipmentwithafrontallightandasimplequestionnairethatallowedsocialepidemiologyinformation,nutritionaldiagnosticstatus,pathologyfound,ifany,andcharacteristicsofthem.Theinvestigationwasofamixedkind,field,documental,descriptiveandtransversal.Results:of347patientsobserved,167presentedlesionsinhardandsofttissue.DentalCavitieswasthemostfrequent(53%).Melanoticmacule12%andEnamelHypoplasia6%.Theagegroupmostaffectedwasthe6-8years(35%).Thegendergroupmostaffectedwasthemalewith64%.Thelocalewasthedentaltissue(61%).Conclusion:Thisstudyregistersthekindofpathologythataffectsthisgroupwithnutritionaldeficiency,andtheimportanceofanintegralandinterdisciplinarypediatricevaluationforabetterodontologicalapproach.
