Correlación entre edad cronológica y edad ósea - edad dental en pacientes del Diplomado de Ortodoncia Interceptiva, UGMA - 2007

[摘要] Theevaluationandthedeterminationofintensegrowingperiodsthatoccursduringthematurityofahumanbeenprovidesimportantclinicalinformationforplanningorthodontics,orthopedicsandtheretentionprocedurestreatments.TheChronologicalAgefrequentlyusedintheevaluationlevelofdevelopmentandmaturityofapatientisnotalwaysareliableindicatorwhichincaseofdoubt,comparativestudieswhitcarpalandpanoramicradiographsareuseastoolsfordeterminationofOsseousAgeandDentalAge.Theseanalysisareprincipallyapplyonchildrenthatareinmixeddentitionperiod;thustobeabletomakethebestdiagnosisinordertousethepicksofgrowthtoguaranteetheeffectivenessofthetreatment.TheobjectofthispaperistodeterminethecorrelationthatexistsbetweentheChronologicalAge,OsseousAge,andDentalAge;onpatientsofInterceptiveOrthodonticTrainingCourseUGMA2007.MaterialsandMethods:45CarpalsRadiographsfromthelefthandandPanoramicRadiographs,ofpatientsbetween5and10yearsold,wereused.ConsequentlytheCarpalsRadiographswereanalyzedinordertoobtaintheOsseousAgeusingasguideTheAtlasofMaturationOsseousofVenezuelanPeopleandTheAtlasofGreulichandPyle(UniversalOsseousAge).Ontheotherhand,thePanoramicRadiographswereanalyzedinordertodeterminetheDentalAgethrowtheDemirjianmethod.Subsequentlyallvariableswerecorrelated(ChronologicalAge,VenezuelanOsseousAge,UniversalOsseousAgeandDentalage)withinthem.TheChronologicalAge,OsseousAgeandDentalAgewereprovidedbythe2007year"GranMariscaldeAyacuchoUniversity"studentsoftheTrainingCourseon"INTERCEPTIVEORTHODONTIA".Conclusions:ThroughoutthisstudyofthelefthandCarpalRadiographs,andthePanoramicRadiographsofthepatientswhomexperimentimportantgrowthchanges,itisnecessarytoobservethematurationindicatorofeachoftheminordertodiagnoseandplanningtheadequateOrthodontictreatment.
