Valores Cefalométricos en niños de nacionalidad italiana con oclusión normal: confrontación con poblaciones del norte de Europa y de Norteamérica
[摘要] Theaimoftheauthorsistoelaboratecephalometricsnationalstandardstomakeasuccessfulcomparisonwithchildrenofthesamesexandagebutofadifferentnationality.Cephalometrictracesof114subjects(69maleagedfrom7to15yearsoldand45femaleagedfrom6to13yearsold)withnormalocclusionwereselected.Cephalometricvalueswerecomparedwithcephalometricsstandardreportedinselectedstudies.Theoutcomemeasuresofsomeofselectedangles(SNA,SNB,ANB)oftheItalianpopulationsamplecomparedtocephalometricsstandardsdescribedinreferenceliteratureshoweddifferencesaccordingtotheethnicgroup.Lotsofstudiesshowthepresenceofimportantdifferencesinthecephalometricsvaluesinchildrenwithnormalocclusionbutofageographicaldifferentcoming;thisstudyconfirmedthenecessitytoplaintheorthodontictreatmentconsideringnotonlypatient#39;sage,sexandtypeofpathology,butalsotheraceandtheethnicgroupofthepopulationtreated.
