[摘要] Agreenhouseinvestigationwasconductedtoassesstheeffectsofwastesulphiteliquorsolids(W.S.L.S.)oncropyieldsandonsomechemicalandphysicalpropertiesofanIntervalsiltloamsoil.TheresponseofoatsandItalianryegrasstonitrogenappliedasammoniumsulphateservedasastandardforevaluatingthe3percentnitrogencontainedintheammonium-baseW.S.L.S.Significantincreasesinyieldsofoatsandryegrassresultedfromammoniumsulphate-nitrogenatratesof60and120 lb.peracrerespectively.W.S.L.S.at2tonsperacre,supplying120 lb.peracreofnitrogen,gaveincreasesofasimilarmagnitude.HigherratesofW.S.L.S.gaveadditionalincreasesinyields.ThenitrogencontentofthetwocropswasincreasedbyapplyingW.S.L.-nitrogenat480 lb.peracre.Ammonium-sulphatenitrogenat60 lb.peracreandW.S.L.-nitrogenat120 lb.peracreincreasedthetotalnitrogenuptakebyoatsandryegrass.W.S.L.S.increasedtheorganicmattercontent,cationexchangecapacityandexchang...
