EVALUATION AND CALIBRATION OF PHOSPHORUS SOIL TEST METHODS FOR PREDICTING FERTILIZER REQUIREMENTS OF POTATOES
[摘要] AccordingtoconceptsandtechniquesdevelopedbyBray,tenextractingproceduresforsoilphosphoruswerecomparedandevaluatedagainstphosphorusresponsecollectedfromfieldpotatotrialsconductedinvariouspotato-growingareasofSouthernOntariooverthreeyears.AmodificationofthePA2test,developedbyBrayandhisassociatesfortheextractionofadsorbed+acid-solublephosphorus,waschosenasmostnearlyfulfillingtherequirementsofasuccessfulsoiltestundertheconditionsofthisexperiment.Thesoiltestwascalibratedagainstresponsetophosphorusfertilizerratesresultinginaphosphorusrequirementtableforpotatoes.
