CHARACTERISTICS OF ORGANIC MATTER EXTRACTED FROM PODZOL B HORIZONS
[摘要] OrganicmatterwasextractedfromPodzolBhorizonsfromninedifferentsitesandanalyzedbychemicalandspectroscopicmethods.Thebiologicalactivityofeachextractwasalsoassessed.Afterpurification,allextracts,whichrepresentedbetween31and56%oftheorganicmatterintheoriginalsoilsamples,weresolubleinbase,acidandwater,whichclassifiedthemasfulvicacids.Thechemicalandspectroscopicdatafortheninefulvicacidsindicatedgreatsimilaritiesingrossstructuralfeaturesandfunctionalgroups.AscouldbejudgedfromtheE4/E6ratios,theacidscontainedfewcondensedringstructures.Allfulvicacidscontainedstablefreeradicalsandincreasedrootinitiationinbeanstemsegments.Whilethefreeradicalcontentofthefulvicacidsdidnotcorrelatestatisticallywiththeirabilitytoincreaserootinitiation,thisaspectmeritsfurtherinvestigation.Thehighacidity,thepredominanceofCOOHgroupsandthewatersolubilityexhibitedbyallfulvicacidpreparationspoin...
