ACTIVITY OF ALUMINUM HYDROXY SULFATE AND THE STABILITY OF HYDROXY ALUMINUM INTERLAYERS IN MONTMORILLONITE
[摘要] WithSO4andClastheanionicspeciesmixedina1:1equivalentratio,Alprecipitatedinthepresenceofmontmorillonitegaveacomplexhavingabasalspacingof25Aafterglycerolsolvationwithseveralhigherorders.TheprecipitatedAlhadanaluminumhydroxysulfatecompositionandwasatleastpartiallyintheinterlayerofthemontmorillonite.Afteraperiodoftime,basaluminite,crystallineAl4(OH)10SO4,wasformedandincreasedlinearlywithtimeastheSO4insolutionandtheinterlayerhydroxyaluminumdecreased.Theionproduct(Al)(OH)2.5(SO4)0.25decreasedgraduallywithtimeandreached10−29.37,thesolubilityproductofbasaluminite.ThereactionsweresimilaratseverallevelsofprecipitatedAl,buttheratesdecreasedwithincreasingamountsofaddedAl.
