EFFECTS OF SILICON ON AUTOMATED METHODS FOR THE DETERMINATION OF PHOSPHATE IN WATER
[摘要] Astudywasmadeofthepossibleinterferenceofsilicononthedeterminationoforthophosphate-Pinnaturalwatersbyautomatedmethods.ItwasfoundthatthisinterferencemightbeseriouswhentheconcentrationofPwaslessthan50 μg/liter.Anautomatedisobutanol-extractionprocedureappearedtobefreefromsiliconinterference.IfthesiliconconcentrationisdeterminedandacorrectionforitappliedtotheapparentPvalue,theusualautomatedmethodmaygiveacceptableresults.
