ROOT-SURFACE MYCOFLORA OF SOYBEAN IN RELATION TO SOIL TEMPERATURE AND MOISTURE IN A FIELD ENVIRONMENT
[摘要] Studiesweremadeontheroot-surfacefungiofsoybeangrowninfieldplotswherevarioussoiltemperatureandmoistureenvironmentshadbeenmaintainedforfivepreviousgrowingseasons.Washed-rootsegmentswereincubatedonagarplatesattemperaturescorrespondingtothoseofthefieldplots.Fusariumwasthemostabundantgenusappearingontheplates.SpeciesofMucor,Trichoderma,Alternaria,Mortierella,Aspergillus,Corynespora,Rhizoctonia,Penicillium,Gliocladium,andsterileformsappearedfairlyfrequently.Statisticalanalysisofthedatarevealedthatchangesinsoilandincubationtemperaturemarkedlyaffectedtherelativefrequencyof12genera,andageofplantsignificantlyaffectedninegenera.Soilmoistureinfluencedthefrequencyofonlyonegenus.Highsoilandincubationtemperature(28 C)encouragedgreaterrootpopulationsofRhizoctoniaearlyintheseason,TrichodermaandAspergillusthroughoutthegrowingseason,andFusariumlateintheseason.Lowsoiltemperatureconditio...
