QUANTITATIVE FRACTIONATION OF ORGANIC PHOSPHORUS COMPOUNDS IN SOME ALBERTA SOILS
[摘要] SoilsamplesfromtheAandBhorizonsofninevirginprofilesandfromtheA2horizonsoftwooftheprofileswereanalysedfororganicphosphoruscontent.ThenineprofilesrepresentedfiveofthemajorsoilzonesofAlberta.OrganicphosphorusextractedwithHClandNaOHtreatmentswasseparatedintothreefractionsusingananionexchangecolumn.Thethreefractionscontainedunidentifiedphosphoruscompounds,meso-inositolhexaphosphateandasupposedisomerofmeso-inositolhexaphosphaterespectively.TheunidentifiedcompoundsintheAhorizonscontainedthemajorproportionoftheorganicphosphorus.Ofthetwoinositolhexaphosphatecompoundsmeasured,thesupposedisomerwaspresentinlargerquantitiesthanthemesoformwiththeexceptionoftheHemarukasoilinwhichthemesoformwasslightlyhigher.Thethreefractionstogetheraccountedforonly54.0percentofthetotalorganicphosphorus.ThelargestamountsoforganicphosphorusintheBhorizonsalsooccurredinFraction1.However,in...
