A precursory study of the Calanthe group (Orchidaceae) in Thailand
[摘要] AreviewoftheThaispeciesoftheCalanthegroup(Orchidaceae)ispresented,basedontheexaminationofover500herbariumandspiritspecimens,andisaprecursorforalatertreatmentintheFloraofThailand.ThegroupcomprisesthegeneraCalantheR.Br.,PhaiusLour,andCephalantheropsisGuillaumin.InthegenusCalanthe,21speciesarerecognized,oneofthembeingnewbutincompletelyknownasonlyasingleflowerwasavailableforstudy.Calantheangustifolia(Blume)Lindl.isnewlyreportedforThailand.UnusualformsofC.vestitaWall,exLindl.arecommentedon,andtheextensivevariationinthespurlengthofC.triplicata(Willemet)Amesisdiscussed.FivePhaiusandoneCephalantheropsisspeciesarerecognized.Identificationkeystothethreegeneraandallspeciesaregiven,anddescriptionsareprovidedforallspecies.Aselectionisillustratedbylinedrawings.
