[摘要] DuringthejoinedstudyonrecentlycollectedspecimensandherbariumsheetsbelongingtothegenusEuphorbia(Euphorbiaceae),anewspecies,EuphorbiairanshahriPahlevani,wasreportedandillustratedasendemicfromtheZagrosMountainsinIran.ThisspeciesismorphologicallydistinctfromE.microsciadiaBoiss.bypossessing6–8raysandray-leaves,subulatecyathialobeslongerthan(orsometimesequalto)anthers,sharp-keeledcapsulesandsmoothseeds.
