Diversity and evolutionary trends in the floral characters of some taxa of Scrophulariaceae sensu lato
[摘要] Thediversityofthefloralcharactersin17speciesofScrophulariaceaeJuss.(belongingto12genera)wascarriedoutthroughthetracingoftheirstatesaspicturedbytheorganvascularization.Accordingtothestatementofevolution(floralcriteria)thecharacterstatesweregivenevolutionarygradesandthelatterwere“clipped”totheircorrespondingtaxa.Trendsofevolutioninthefloralcharacterswerefoundtobegamosepaly,sympetaly,bilateralsymmetry,reductiontrendsinthenumberofstamensaswellastheirvascularizationandtheoccasionalpresenceofaplacentalvascularcordasafusionproductofthecarpellaryventraltraces.Noneofthetaxaunderinvestigationcouldbeconsideredasadvancedovertheothersinceallretainedmosaicevolutionexpressedbyvariationinthevascularpatterninsepals,petals,stamensandcarpels.InadditiontheobtaineddataconfirmedthatthelineofevolutioninsidetribeAntirrhineaeisfromAntirrhinummajusL.(representinglessadvancedcase)toKickxiaaegyptiaca(L.)Nábělek(themostadvancedstudiedspecies).RusseliaequisetiformisSchlecht.amp;Cham.occupiedthelowestpositionvsScrophulariaxanthoglossaBoiss.(tribeCheloneae).TheventralcordandlateralcarpellarybundlespatternsupportedthetaxonomiclocationofPaulowniatomentosa(Thunb.)andToreniafournieriLindenexE.Fourn.underfamilyScrophulariaceae.
