[摘要] Blotiellareducta(C.Chr.)R.M.TryonwasoriginallydescribedasasmallfernfromtheGuineanHighlandsofWestAfrica,butovertimeithasbecomeataxonomicallyconfusingmixtureofhighlandandlowlandplants.Inthispublicationwedescribeanewspecies,BlotiellaconfusaJongkindamp;W.deWinter,sp.nov.basedonmostofthelowlandmaterialpreviouslyidentifiedasB.reducta,andwerestrictB.reductatoitsoriginalconcept.ArevisedidentificationkeyforallAfricanspeciesofthegenusisprovided.
