Novelties from the Northern Mountains Complex of Madagascar. III. Two new species of Turraea L. (Meliaceae)
[摘要] TwonewspeciesofTurraeaL.aredescribedfromnorthernMadagascar,T.andriamiarisoanaCallm.,Phillipsonamp;Lowry,sp.nov.andT.buerkiiCallm.,Phillipsonamp;Lowry,sp.nov.,bothendemictoaregionboundedbyfourrelativelywell-studiedprotectedareas(Tsaratanana,Manongarivo,MarojejyandAnjanaharibe-Sud).Theregionharborsextensivelowtohighelevationhumidforestthatwasbotanicallyvirtuallyunknownuntilrecently.ThenewspeciesdifferfromeachotherandfromothermembersofthegenusinMadagascarbyleaffeatures,flowercolour,lengthofthestaminalappendices,andtheshapeandthepubescenceoftheovary.Linedrawingsareprovidedforbothofthenewtaxa,alongwithdiscussionsoftheirmorphologicalaffinitiesandpreliminaryriskofextinctionassessments.
