Novitates neocaledonicae IV: Three new species of Cryptocarya R.Br. (Lauraceae)
[摘要] ThreeendemicnewspeciesofCryptocaryaR.Br.aredescribedfromNewCaledonia.CryptocaryaadpressaMunzingeramp;McPherson,sp.nov.,isasmall-leaved,pinnatelyveinedspeciesresemblingspeciessuchasC.leptospermoidesKosterm.andC.gracilisSchltr.,butdifferingmostnotablyinitspersistentandstronglyappressedindumentoftheinflorescence.CryptocaryabarrabeaeMunzingeramp;McPherson,sp.nov.,resemblesC.pluricostatabutcanbedistinguishedmosteasilybyitsellipticalleafshapeandlonger,straighterindument.CryptocaryachryseaMunzingeramp;McPherson,sp.nov.,resemblesC.guillauminiiKosterm.initsovate,denselyandpersistentlypubescentleaveswithascendantlateralveins,butdiffersmostnotablyinitsprominentlylenticellatestemsandabaxiallygoldenleaves.Allthreenewspeciesaretreesoccurringindensehumidforest.Twoarerestrictedtonon-ultramaficsubstratewhileC.chrysea,sp.nov.,occursonbothsubstrates.Theyareallknownfromatleastthreeprotectedareas,anddonotappeartobethreatened;thustheyareallassignedapreliminarilyLeastConcernIUCNstatus.
