A new species of Verbascum L. (Scrophulariaceae) from the Gilan province (Iran), based on morphological and molecular evidences

[摘要] AnewendemicspeciesfromnorthofIran:VerbascumparsanaSotoodeh,Attaramp;Civeyrel,sp.nov.isdescribed.Consideringthecombinationofsomecharacteristicslikeebracteolateandsingleflowers,violethairsonfilaments,pedicelsizebetween3to10mmandstellate-glandularindumentum,thenewspeciesisrelatedtoVerbascumpunalenseBoiss.amp;Buhse,butseveraldifferenceshavebeenobservedbetweenthetwospecies:theshapeoftheanthers,thepetioleofbasalleaves,thecorollasizeandthecalyxhairs.WeinvestigatethegeneticdistanceofthenewspecieswithclosegenerausingITSandplastidregions(trnS-G,trnL-F,trnH-psbAandpartialmatK).Thenewspeciesshowedsignificantmolecularandmorphologicaldistancefromcloselyrelatedspecies.Photosanddistributionmaparepresented.
