New species and new synonymy in the genus Gypsophila L. subgenus Pseudosaponaria Williams (Caryophyllaceae)

[摘要] GypsophilafarsensisFalat.,Assadiamp;F.Ghahrem.,sp.nov.isdescribedasanewendemicspeciesoftheCenterofIran.Morphologicalevidences(dichasialinflorescence,tubular-campanulatecalyxwithwidehyalineintervals,petalstwototwoandahalftimesasthecalyxwithdistinctlimbandclaw,ovules17–27)supporttaxonomicplacementofthenewtaxoninGypsophilaL.subgenusPseudosaponariaWilliams.Gypsophilafarsensis,sp.nov.isclosetoG.platyphyllaBoiss.,butitdifferswithhavingshorterhabit,thinnerstems,glandular-hairylowerinternodes,shorterinternodes,linear-lanceolateleaveswithlesswidthandspatulatepetals.Moreover,G.boissierianaHausskn.amp;Bornm.isproposedasasynonymofG.platyphyllaBoiss.Micromorphologyofseedsandpollengrainsisdescribedandcomparedbetweenthedescribedtaxa.
