Muscle fibers from dysgenic mouse in vivo lack a surface component of peripheral couplings☆
[摘要] Wehavestudiedthestructureofdevelopingnormalanddysgenic(mdgmdg)mousemusclefibersinvivo,withspecialattentiontothecomponentsofthejunctionsbetweenthesarcoplasmicreticulumandeitherthesurfacemembraneorthetransversetubules.Triadsanddyadsarerareindysgenicmusclefibers,buthaveapparentlynormaldispositionoffeetandcalsequestrin.Peripheralcouplingsinnormaldevelopingmusclefibershavejunctionaltetradsintheirsurfacemembraneinassociationwiththejunctionfeet.Musclefibersindysgenicmicelackjunctionaltetrads.Thisprovidesindirectevidencefortheidentificationofthecomponentsofjunctionaltetradswithdihydropyridinereceptors,whichareknowntobeabsentindysgenicmusclefibers.
