[摘要] Theecdysonetiterofthesilkworm(BombyxmoriL.)asdeterminedbybioassayofpurifiedextractsshowslargefluctuations.Amaximumisfoundpriortothelastlarvalmolt,anothermaximumduringspinningofthematurelarvae,followedbyashortminimumandanothermaximumatpupation.Inthepupae,twomaximaareseen,at2–3daysand10–12days.Eveninyoungmothsecdysoneisfound;femalescontainfourtimesasmuchasmales.InCeruravinula,thetiterwasdeterminedinrelationtocolorchangeoftheadult(spinning)larvae.Twomaximahavebeenfound.
