Skin antigens in the chick embryo in relation to other developmental events☆
[摘要] Twoskin-specificantigenswereshowntoappearduringthecourseofskinandfeatherdevelopment.Onewasdetectedforthefirsttimeat6daysintheskinandtheotherat13daysinthefeather.Twostage-specificantigensnotpresentat3,4,or5daysareshowntoappearat6daysofincubation.Anotherstage-specificantigenisshowntoariseat11or12days.Theappearanceofthreenewantigensat6daysiscorrelatedwithfeatherinduction,whichoccursbetween512and6days.Therelationofaspecificantigen,seenforthefirsttimeat13days,toproteinmadeonastablepolysomalcomplexwhichispresentearlyindevelopmentbutactivatedat13daysispointedout.
