cAMP enhanced aggregation of cells from early chick embryos☆
[摘要] Wholechickembryosincubatedfor24–36hrweredisaggregatedwithEDTA.Thepopulationsofsinglecellswereincubatedbothinsuspensionandafterbeingplatedatvariousdensitiesonagarblocksinahumidenvironment.Inbothcasesaggregatesformed.TheaggregationwasenhancedbycAMPand3-isobutyl-1-methylxanthine(IBMX;aphosphodiesteraseinhibitor).Thedensityofaggregateswhichformedontheagarblocksdecreasedsharplyatacriticalcelldensity,suggestingthataggregationwasmediatedbyarelayedsignal.ThecriticaldensitywasdecreasedbyIBMXandincreasedbyphosphodiesterase(PDE),suggestingthataggregationwasmediatedbyacyclicnucleotide,mostprobablycAMP.EvidencewasobtainedforthepresenceofanextracellularPDE.
