Fibronectin expression during the processes leading to axis formation in the chick embryo
[摘要] FibronectinexpressionwasstudiedandfoundnottobepresentduringthesheddingprocessofstageVIIchickembryoswhichindicatesthatfibronectinisnotrelevantduringtheimplementationofthegravity-determinedprocessofsymmetrization.Fibronectinwasdetected,however,atthelaterstageXIIIjustpriortostreakformationasathinfluorescentsheetontheepiblasticsidefacingthehypoblastsuggestingthatitmightbeinvolvedinthespecificinteractionsthatoccurbetweenepiblastandhypoblastandthatleadtoaxisformation.Culturesofeitherepiblasticorhypoblasticchickcellsindicatethatbothtypesofcellsarecapableofautonomousexpressionoffibronectinunderinvitroconditions.
