Neural influence on the postnatal changes in acetylcholine receptor distribution at nerve-muscle junctions in the mouse
[摘要] TheeffectofdenervationatdifferentstagesofdevelopmentonthepatternofjunctionalAChRmoleculeshasbeenexaminedinhindlimbmusclesofthemouseusingfluorescentα-bungarotoxin.DenervationatbirthleadsinafewdaystoamarkeddispersalofthejunctionalAChRcluster.ThemechanismofdispersalisunknownbutappearstobetooslowtobeexplainedbyfreediffusionofindividualAChRmolecules.Followingbirth,themorphologicalstabilityoftheclusterincreasessothatdenervationat2weeksofage,whenthematureformoftheclusterbeginstodevelop,leadstolittleincreaseinclustersize.Thechangesinthepatternofreceptorsseenwhenthenerveisintactarearrestedbydenervation.
