[摘要] Wedetectedbyelectrophoresis,severalglycoproteinsintheeggsofthreespeciesofseaurchin.Themajorglycoproteinbanddisappearsasdevelopmentoftheembryoproceeds.Thisproteinisenrichedintheyolkfractionobtainedbyzonesedimentationin2.5–30%sucrosegradients.Afractionallylargerglycoproteinhasbeenfoundtobethemajorproteininthecoelomicfluidofmaleandfemalegravidseaurchins.Partialproteolysispeptidemappingshowsthatthemajorcoelomicfluidproteinandthemajoryolkproteinarerelated,presumablyinaprecursor-productrelationship.
