A new glycoprotein antigen common to teratocarcinoma, visceral endoderm, and renal tubular brush border☆
[摘要] GlycoproteinswerepurifiedfromteratocarcinomaOTT6050byaffinitychromatographyonDolichosbiflorusagglutinin-agarose.Therabbitantiserumraisedagainsttheglycoproteinsdefinedanewantigenicmarkerafterabsorptionwithsheeperythrocytesandparticulatefractionofthemouseliver.Theantigenwasdetectedonthevisceralendodermof7-day-oldembryos,onthetubularbrushborderofthekidneyinadultmiceandoncertainendodermalcellsofteratocarcinomas.Uponsodiumdodecylsulfate-gelelectrophoresis,theantigensfromteratocarcinomaOTT6050andfromthekidneymigratedasband(s)ofmolecularweightaround500,000.Althoughtheantigensfromthetwosourceswereimmunologicallyidentical,theyshouldbedifferentincarbohydratesequenceasjudgedfromtheirbehavioruponaffinitychromatographyonlectin-agarose.
