[摘要] Inculturedfirstlowermousemolars,themitoticindex(MI)oftheinnerdentalepitheliumwassignificantlyhigherthanthatoftheouterdentalepithelium(ODE).TrypsintreatmentoftoothgermshadnoeffectsontheMI.InheterotopicassociationsbetweenODEandtrypsin-isolateddentalpapilla,theMIincreasedincomparisonwiththeMIofODEinisotopicassociationsbetweenIDEanddentalpapilla.InheterotopicassociationsbetweenODEandEDTA-isolateddentalpapillawhichremainedcoveredbyacontinuous,intactbasementmembrane,theMIandthelabelingindexofODEweresignificantlyhigherthanthoseinheterotopicassociationsofODEwithtrypsin-isolateddentalpapilla.Thepossibleroleofthedentalpapillainthecontrolofthecellkineticsofthedentalepitheliumviamesenchyme-dependentmodificationsoftheBMisdiscussed.
