The presence of gap junctions during early Patella embryogenesis: An electron microscopical study
[摘要] ThepresenceofgapjunctionshasbeenexamineduptothesixthcleavageintheearlyPatellaembryo.Gapjunctionsarelocatedallovertheblastomereborders.In2-,4-,and8-cellembryostheywerealsoobservedatperipheralcontacts.Thefrequencyandsizeofthegapjunctionsincreaseatthe32-cellstage.Thestructureofgapjunctionsissimilarinallstagesinvestigatedwithhexagonallyarrangedequal-sizedparticles(11nm)havingaconstantcenter-to-centerspacing(13.0nm).Atthe32-cellstageformationplaqueswereobserved,indicatinganincreaseofgapjunctions.
