Nuclear morphology of ichthyosis mutant mice as a cell marker in chimeric brain☆
[摘要] Thenuclearmorphologyofcertainneuronalpopulationsfromthemutantmouse,ichthyosis,isdistinctfromwild-typestrainsofmice.Thegranulecellsofthecerebellum,cochlearnucleus,andolfactorybulbinichthyosismicehaveamuchgreatertendencyforcentralizedclumpingofnuclearheterochromatin.Intheearlypostnatalnervoussystemmanycellsinmigratoryandgerminalregionsofthebrainalsoexpresstheichthyosisphenotype.Theretentionoftheichthyosisphenotypeinneuronsofchimericmiceisdocumented.Theprevalentexpressionoftheichthyosisphenotypeinpostnatalmigratoryandgerminalregionsofthebrainwouldbeparticularlyusefulforstudyingcellinteractionsinthedevelopingbrain.
