Histone subtypes and switches in synthesis of histone subtypes during Ilyanassa development☆
[摘要] Thehistonesofthemudsnail(Ilyanassaobsoleta)havebeenexaminedatvariousstagesduringdevelopment,fromearlyembryostodifferentiatedlarvae.HistoneswerevisualizedbySDSelectrophoresisandbynonionicdetergentgelelectrophoresis.Forseveraldevelopmentalstagesthesynthesisofputativehistonesubtypeswasmonitoredbyfluorography.DuringcleavagelittlehistonesynthesisisdetectableindicatingthatthehistonesofnewchromatinofearlyIlyanassaembryoscomefromapoolsynthesizedduringoogenesis.WehavefoundseveralH1formswhichwehavetentativelydesignatedassubtypes.Ourresultsindicatethatthereisastage-specificpatternofsynthesisoftheseproteinsduringdevelopment.AprominenthistonecomponentofveligerlarvaewhichmigratesintheH2A-H2BregionofanSDS-gelshowsnoorverylittlesynthesisduringembryogenesis.ThiscomponentmaycontainbothanH2AandanH2Bsubtype.Inaddition,wehaveresolvedutilizingnonionicdetergentgelsonefurtherformeachofH2AandH2Bwhicharesynthesizedduringembryogenesis.Finally,wehavefoundtwoIlyanassahistoneswhichhavemobilitiesandstainingpropertiessimilartolateseaurchinH2Bsubtypes.Theseproteinsaresynthesizedduringearlyembryogenesis.Bythelarvalstagetheyarenolongersynthesizedatdetectablelevels.
