[摘要] Surfacetopographyofsatellitecellsisexaminedinthescanningelectronmicroscopeafterapplicationofanewmethodtoeliminateconnectivetissuecomponents.Wedescribetheoverallshapeofsatellitecellsinnormalfrogmuscleandshowtherangeofvariationinnormalstructure.Smallincreasesinthewidthoftailsandchangesinthecelloutlineoccuraftermuscleinjuryinvivoandafterincubationinvitro.Thesechangesmaybesignsofearlymobilizationofsatellitecellsrelatedtotheireventualroleinmuscleregeneration.
