Development of teratomas from yolk sac of genetically sterile embryos☆
[摘要] Yolksac-derivedteratomasarecomposedofvariouswell-differentiatedtissues.Thesetissuesmustbederivedfrommultipotentcells.ToexcludeagermcelloriginfortheseteratomasweusedSteel-Sl+femalescopulatedwithSl+males.Theembryosgeneratedfromsuchmatingcomprise25%SlSlsterileembryos,deficientinprimordialgermcells,25%normalembryos(+/+),and50%heterozygotes(Sl+).Theresultsindicatethatthegenotypeoftheembryosdoesnotinfluencethedevelopmentofteratomas.Displacedyolkssacsbelongingtogeneticallysterileembryosdevelopedintoteratomasasfrequentlyasthosefromheterozygotesandfromgeneticallynormalembryos.
