[摘要] CytochemicalstainingcharacteristicsofnuclearhistonesduringpostfertilizationmaturationdivisionandvariousearlyembryonicstagesinUrechishavebeenstudied.Thetransitionofprotamine-typeproteintoadulthistonesinthespermnucleusisaccomplishedby15minafterentranceintotheeggcytoplasm.Newlysynthesizedeggproteinsmigrateintoenlargingmaleandfemalepronucleiafterthistransition,followedbypronuclearDNAsynthesisandfusion.Theshiftfromprotamine-typeproteintoadulthistones,whichoccursintheabsenceofRNAsynthesisduringthepostfertilizationmaturationdivisionoftheegg,maybeoneoftheprocessesinvolvedinthenormalstructuralreorganizationofchromosomes.Suchareorganizationislikelytobeaprerequisiteforchromosomereplicationandmitosis.Noqualitativedifferencesaredetectedinthestainabilityofhistonesofunfertilizedeggsandembryosatthecleavageandlaterstagesofdevelopment.
